I discovered an interesting "gotcha" tonight with Exact Audio Copy/LAME. I don't know if it would be classified as a bug or not...

I have several different ripping/encoding profiles set up in EAC for different things like Audio Books vs Music, for example.

I found out that if I have a bunch of encoding jobs queued up for LAME to work on, it does the encoding using whichever profile is currently active in EAC, and not the profile that was in effect when the job was created.

So, I ripped an audio book at low bit rate which left 50 or 60 jobs in the LAME queue, then finished off with a Mozart CD at high bit rate. Fortunately I figured out what was happening, and ended up with perhaps half a dozen audio book tracks at a higher bit rate than I thought before I changed it back. But now I have to wait and keep a close eye on things so I change the profile back to high bit rate when the queue reaches the Mozart.
